I didn’t plan a big design. I wasn’t looking for something dramatic.
There was just a word that stayed with me during this trip, and I felt like I didn’t want to lose it when I left.
Seeing “eudaimonia” written so lightly on the ribs made me think. It’s not a loud word, but it carries weight.
There’s something intimate about placing a word close to your breath.
I’ve always liked vertical lettering. It reads slower. It makes you pause.
And somehow it feels like it belongs to the person wearing it, not to the people looking at it.
Some scripts were sharp and structured. Almost architectural. They didn’t look fragile at all, and I liked that contrast.
A small “Seoul” near the ankle felt simple but honest. It didn’t try too hard. It just existed there, like a quiet memory.
I realized I preferred handwriting over perfect fonts. It feels less manufactured.
More human. More temporary, even though it’s permanent.
In the end, I chose something simple. No long sentence. No explanation.
Just a word that felt right in this moment of my life. No pressure. No rush. Just space to decide.
That made the word feel even more mine.
