While watching KPop Demon Hunters, I found myself drawn to the character of Duffy the tiger and the energy of the music, especially songs like “Golden”. The animation had a playful but powerful vibe that made me think about how tigers are seen in Korean culture. That connection stayed with me, and by the time I traveled to Seoul, I knew I wanted a tattoo that reflected both the inspiration from the animation and a more traditional artistic style.
The tiger in Korea is more than an animal; it represents courage and guardianship. I decided not to go for an animated design but instead chose a traditional look that felt timeless. For me, this design was a way of honoring both what I enjoyed from KPop Demon Hunters and the heritage of Korean art.
I adjusted my travel plans just to make this tattoo happen. The studio was welcoming and professional, and the artist explained how tigers have long been part of Korean art. That conversation made me feel connected to the meaning behind the design, not just the image on my skin.

It wasn’t the same tiger from KPop Demon Hunters, but the spirit of the story and music was there. For me, this tiger tattoo is the perfect reminder of my trip to Seoul, where culture, travel, and art all came together.
